Happy Valentine's Day

Cordelia's 2nd Valentine's Day.  Last year, we were getting ready to move the following day, so we did not even celebrate other than to dress C up in an outfit, that I think her diaper leaked on and she had to be changed.  Now we are all settled and happily living in our place.

Mom-mom, and Aunties A and R are visiting us for the long weekend.  We took Cordelia to the wonderful park.  She had fun.  We read her lots of books.  We watched the "Cordelia show" on the baby monitor, as she talked endlessly to herself before falling asleep to nap.

A momentous day… Cordelia did not have any breastmilk at all.  Usually she has some when she wakes up, but today she just wanted to read books and then go have pancakes.  This evening, my folks did the baby sitting, which they offered to do so that Jason and I could go on a date.  We had Thai food and went to the movies and saw Birdman.  My mom sang Cordelia some Gershwin songs and put her to bed.  Apparently she asked when we were coming home but was very good for Mom-Mom, except when she needed her teeth brushed.  So no Na in the morning or at night. This was the first time in her whole life.  My little baby is growing into a big girl!!!!  Everyday she just keeps getting bigger.

I love you, my little Valentine!
